Anjomane Padeshahi enter the Iran game

56 of the 59 passengers of Iranian descent are arrested after a staged sit-in on a Lufthansa plane at the Brussels Airport. Several have to be carried from the plane by Belgian police. The action had apparently been planned for 5 months by exiled Iranian television presenters, Manouchehr Fouladvand's London-based Iranian monarchist group, "Azarakhse" (Lightning). A man identyfing himself as Rahim said, in a statement, "We don't ask nobody, no country, nor any power in the world to help us to change the regime. We can do it ourselves." Conversely, another passenger, Armin Atshgar said: "We want the European Union to remove the Islamic leaders from Iran" He said he was a member of Anjomane Padeshahi, a pro-monarchist group that wants to restore the country's royal family.The German magazine Der Spiegel said it had received a letter from the group denouncing torture in Iran.
