Welcome Back Ivory Billed Woodpecker!

Long thought to be extinct the Ivory-Billed Woodpecker has been re-discovered in the eastern swamp lands of Arkansas.
It had been about 60 years since a confirmed sighting of this magnificent giant woodpecker. Although there were several rumored sightings over the years in Louisiana and Texas they were always unconfirmed or ridiculed by experts. But now there
have been at least 15 sightings in the Cache River and White River national wildlife refuges. Welcome back glorious bird! Let's keep an eye on Bush appointed Gale Norton and make the right things are getting done on behalf of this amazing find.
